Installing on Android devices
We will need to know the email address for the Google account that your device is connected to. This will either be a @gmail.com address, or a Google Workspace account. We need this to allow your device to install the trial version of the app.
When we've granted access (this is a manual process so it might take a little while), we'll send an email to that address with a link to download the app from the Google Play Store.
You can visit this webpage either on the device itself, or on a computer if your browser is logged into the same Google account, and install it from there onto your device.
The app will be called Limetrack on your device, but the Play Store page might show it under a temporary name, "earth.limetrack.app.android", and it will say "(unreviewed)" - while the app is under test it enables us to deploy changes quicker.
Installing on Apple (iOS) devices
We'll send you an email with a link to install the trial version of the Limetrack app.
The link will take you to an Apple webpage called "Testing Apps with TestFlight" that explains the Apple testing process and how to install apps on the TestFlight platform. Please follow the steps for "Installing a beta iOS or iPadOS app via email or public link invitation" shown below.
- Install TestFlight on the iOS device that you’ll use during the trial.
- Open the email invitation that we sent you or tap the public link on your device.
- When installing via email invitation, select the “View in TestFlight” or “Start testing” and then tap “Install” or “Update” for the app you want to test.
- When installing via public link, simply tap “Install” or “Update”.
