Waste Carrier FAQs

To empty a SMART240 wheelie bin, please follow these steps:

1. Unlock the SMART240 bin by placing your carrier SMART card on
   the large contactless logo until you hear a beep.
2. Lift the lid of the SMART240 bin and inspect the contents of the bin.
3. If appropriate, empty the contents of the SMART240 bin into the truck.
4. Once the SMART240 has been emptied, close the bin lid and wheel the bin back to its location.
5. Relock the SMART240 bin by placing your carrier SMART card on the large contactless logo until you hear a beep. If you forget to do this, the bin will automatically lock itself after 15 minutes.
